Roman "> Born in Pinar del Rio, the westernmost province of Cuba in 1952.
He studied at the Provincial School of Plastic Arts of Pinar del Rio to 1977.
He is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba.

Since 2001 he directs the project "With Love and Hope", recorded on teaching children with Down syndrome.

The prolific artist Roll Jesus addresses in his work among other issues the nature of his native province of Pinar del Rio, the idiosyncrasies, the family, hope and totems or symbols as heirs of Patakines, fables, feelings and dreams combined with the virtuosity and mastery have sprouted hundreds of prints and paintings, from observing their environment and the universe and their own experiences of the artist, whose work has been dedicated exhibitions have focused on the Afro-Cuban, eroticism , idiosyncrasies, and symbols of hope, addressing the issues from sexuality and innocence, mixed with myths treated with a touch surreal, all taken in hand by an artist who brings out in his work the feeling of love and philanthropy.
